Hold Me Capable

You know exactly what your business should look like. You just can't get there alone.

I'm Tim Heeter. I sit down with business owners who are stuck between their vision and their reality — and I help them close the gap. Not with advice from the sideline. By getting in the mess with you and building it together.

Sound Familiar?

You're not confused about what needs to happen. You're stuck on making it happen.

You built this business. You're good at what you do. Clients love you. The work is solid.

But you've hit a wall. And pushing harder stopped working a while ago.

Maybe it looks like this:

You tried to bring in technology — AI tools, automation, new software — and it created more work, not less. Nobody asked how your business actually runs before they sold you the tool. Now your team won't use it, your systems don't talk to each other, and you're still doing half of it by hand.

You're invisible where it counts — your business is real, your work is proven, but people can't find you. Your website sits there generating nothing. Competitors with half your skill are getting the calls because they show up first. You've maybe paid an agency or an SEO person. Got reports. Got no results.

Your team isn't executing — you know what needs to happen and so do they, but nothing changes. The strategy exists. The execution doesn't. You're still the one holding every thread, doing things you should have handed off years ago, and wondering why nobody cares as much as you do.

You've got the plan but not the path — you've read the books, maybe hired a coach, maybe bought a course. You've got notebooks full of ideas and a business that still feels like it's running you. Not because the plan was bad. Because nobody was in it with you to make it real.

Here's the thing these all have in common: you already know what needs to change. The gap is between knowing and doing.

That's the only gap I close.

What This Is

Not coaching. Not consulting. Something more honest than both.

I don't fix businesses. I work with the owner. When the owner gets unstuck, the business follows.

I sit down and see what's actually going on — not the story, not the surface problem, the real one. Is it a people problem? A process problem? A technology problem? Usually it's all three.

Then we start with what you have. Not what you wish you had. Not the 47-step plan. What's actually in front of you right now that you can use, build on, and multiply.

I hold you capable.

I look at the whole picture — people, process, tech, internal team, external team — and I build a plan from what's actually in front of you. Every step is prescribed for your team, your situation, your resources.

Nobody else's playbook works here. This one does.

Most of my clients move further in the first 30 days than they did in the previous year. Then it just becomes their next new normal.

How It Works

Four things. That's it.

01

Clear

Before we touch anything, we figure out what's actually stuck. Not the surface version. The real one. What's working, what's not, and what do you actually want? I diagnose whether it's a people problem, a process problem, or a tech problem — that's where the real answer lives. Most people have never been asked these questions by someone who'll sit with the honest answers.

02

Capable

We break it down into what you can do right now. Today. This week. Not what you should do or wish you'd done. I hold you capable — which means I find the move that's actually available to you and we make it. Then the next one. There's always something you can do.

03

Confident

Action creates evidence. Evidence creates confidence. You stop wondering whether you can do this — because you just did it. Last week and the week before that. Confidence isn't something you build in your head. It's what's left over when you look back at a trail of things you followed through on.

04

Friction Fighters

Systems, tools, and structures that keep it running when motivation fades. Because it always does. We build the guardrails that make the right thing the easy thing — so when a hard week hits, the business doesn't slide back to where it was. This is where "next new normal" stops being a phrase and starts being how you operate.

What I Actually Do

Whatever is between your vision and your reality. That's the work.

Every business is different. The stuck is always specific. But here's the kind of work I do:

AI and automation

I map how your business actually works, then build the tools and workflows that multiply what you already have. Not a course. Not a pitch. Done with you, built for you.

Getting found online

Websites, Google Business, local search, digital presence. Your online presence should match the quality of your actual work. I make sure it does.

Team execution and leadership

Helping your people step into ownership. Building the systems so your team runs without you holding every thread. Whether that team is people, AI, or both.

Operations, systems, and strategy

The boring stuff that makes everything else work. Process documentation, tool connections, the infrastructure your business runs on.

The domain changes. The process doesn't. Clear first. Then capable. Then confident. Then the systems that hold it.

I scope it as a sprint — could be a week, could be 30 days, could be 90 days depending on what's stuck. We get the result, and you come back when you're ready for the next thing.

For select clients, I work as an ongoing partner — a fractional operator who knows your business as well as you do. That's by invitation only.

What Changes

You don't get replaced.
You get multiplied.

"I don't feel less than. I have been multiplied. My brilliance is multiplied out there."

— A business partner, after working through it together

Your vision becomes operational — it moves from your head into a real plan with real steps and real systems holding it together.

Your time gets its purpose back — you stop fighting fires and start building the thing you set out to build.

The stuck things get unstuck — marketing, hiring, pricing, systems — whatever's blocking the path, we clear it together.

You get a partner in the mess — not above you, not on the sideline. In it with you, building alongside you.

Who This Is For

Business owners who know what they want to build and are done being stuck.

This works best for owners of trade businesses, service companies, family operations, and small companies — from solo operators to teams of 80. You've got revenue coming in. You've got skills. You just can't get the business to run the way you see it in your head.

This is for you if

You've been doing this long enough to know what's broken

You're not looking for a guru — you're looking for a partner

You want someone in the weeds with you, not handing you a playbook

You've tried courses, coaches, or consultants and nothing stuck

You're ready to move — you just need the path cleared

This isn't for you if

You want someone to do it all for you

You're looking for a magic bullet or a quick fix

You blame your team for everything

You want advice from a safe distance

About Tim

I've spent my career in the gap between knowing and doing.

I started as a science teacher — eight years, the kind who'd get on one knee beside a student and wait for the lightbulb. That instinct never left me.

Then I spent years at a rock quarry with 80 employees, helping 12 leaders across every department execute the president's vision. That's where I learned how businesses actually work — coordinating people, process, and technology across an entire operation.

For the last 15 years, I've been in the room with business owners of every kind — solopreneurs, family businesses, landscapers, manufacturers, construction companies, service operations. I get pulled in as "the tech guy" but I go deeper: is this a people problem, a process problem, or a tech problem? Usually it's all three.

The thing that changed everything wasn't a skill or a technology. It was learning how to hold people capable. Not motivate them. Not teach them. Not fix them. Hold them capable of running their business the way they already know it should run.

That's a different thing entirely. And it's why people who've tried coaching before tell me this doesn't feel like coaching.

Based in Spokane. Working with business owners across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Common Questions

You're probably wondering.

How is this different from coaching?

Most coaching gives you a framework and tells you to go execute it. I don't have a curriculum. I don't assign homework. I figure out what's actually in the way, and we move it. Together. It's more like having a business partner who's been through this before.

I've worked with a coach before and it didn't help.

I hear this a lot. Usually what happened is someone gave you great advice that you already knew, and then you went back to your business and nothing changed. I don't advise from the sideline. I get in the mess.

I'm already overwhelmed — I can't add one more thing.

Then we start by taking things off your plate, not adding to it. Most of my clients find hours in their week within the first few sessions — not by working harder, but by stopping things that weren't working.

What if my business is too niche or too small?

I don't need to be an expert in your industry. You already are. What I'm good at is seeing where the stuck is — regardless of the business type. Trade businesses, service companies, family operations, solo shops — the stuck always has the same shape.

What does the first 30 days look like?

Week 1 — We get clear on what's actually stuck. Weeks 2–3 — We break it down and start building. Week 4 — You look back and realize you've moved more in a month than you did in the previous year.

How much does it cost?

It depends on what's stuck and how deep we need to go. A focused sprint might be a week. A bigger build might be 90 days. The best way to find out is to have a conversation. No pitch. No pressure.

There's always something
you can do.

You've been sitting on something. You know what it is.

Maybe it's been six months. Maybe it's been years. Maybe you've told yourself you'll get to it when things slow down — but things never slow down.

You don't need another course. You don't need a guru. You don't need someone to tell you what you already know.

You need someone to hold you capable of closing the gap between where you are and where you know you should be.

That's what the next 30 days are for.

Let's just talk

30 minutes. No commitment. Just clarity.
